It's been a rough week to say the least, HMM is his depressed, angry, agressive self and there is nothing I can do. I realize this now, I have tried, tried, tried to ease his feelings and find ways to boost his morale - but in the end, it is him that he is frustrated with. Unfortunately, he takes it out freely on the rest of us. How in the hell have we made it through 19 years of marriage - one answer "me" and my willingness to roll over and compromise and try to appease him. I have to say, it is getting a lot more difficult since he has been injured and out of work. I sure hope he finds something very, very soon.
We are going to cook out today when the guys return and then the friends will be on their way home - which is about an hour away. I like having company, takes the focus off me and usually changes HMMs mood, if only for a short while. I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday with their families and remembering those that have served us and the country throughout the years.
