The summer is flying by for the kids, one month and they will be back in school - which I think they are looking forward to. Being home, they get to witness just how cranky their dad is. They have enjoyed the pool, however have been bored. Each year we take a family vacation and go somewhere (each year but this one). I have vacation time coming up, but no money to go anywhere and with gas prices even driving somewhere costs you. So, I'm hoping to lighten up a little (no work, no school) and just be with the kids. I like to be with HMM too - depending on his mood. I'm going to try and save back enough money to take them to the lake for picnic and swimming one day.
My birthday is coming up, not looking forward to that either - it will be just another day and lately I have really been feeling like I'm getting older.
